We looked at a camper in the afternoon, told them we wanted it also talked to the owner of the camper ando all of suden it was mysteriously sold.
We brought in our truck and trailer so that they could adjust our weight distributing hitch at first they seamed very knowledgeable, then they proceeded to assemble it without tightening anything down to the torque specs after it was assembled they attached the trailer and it sagged horribly and seamed to have no idea why, but they said it was the best they could do and told us it would be ok for our trip accross the country to California. When the back of the truck was less than 6 inches from the ground. But they hitched it up and told us to hit the road everything was fine we only bottomed out a few times but then we had no brakes on the highway. After barely avoiding a collision we pulled over to find that the electrical cable controlling the brakes was pressed against where the ball meats the trailer and had been pinched. So now we have no brakes and are waiting for the tow truck. The electrical line was run behind the cable for the emergency brake and was trapped agaist the hitch, this is the way they told us we would be fine, we never touched it, and now we are stuck at the side of the road. I will never be returning to these people again and I do not suggest for anyone else to either.
Lacy RV must not be very well off financially, they had the chance to make a new regular customer but charged an unbelievably high amount of money for a simple repair. Judging from the 2 other people who have felt so compelled to write a google review, neither of which are positive, this place has a M.O. of being subpar and wants to stick to that. One star for being consistent (at sucking).
