The portions are large. I had the pork fritter sandwich. The flavor was a little above average but probably not worth ordering again. I also had the bacon gravy on my fries and was impressed at first but the more I ate the less I liked it. My server was great but she doesn't work there any more.
My wife had the chicken Caesar salad. She said it was good.
Been here multiple times while in town for a project. Staff is always friendly and the service is on-point. Great selection of beer on tap and they offer some of the local brews from Three Rings Brewery (my favorite is the Wanderlust). The food is great as well and everything I've ordered has been delicious. The Fieldhouse is my go-to restaurant in McPherson!
Been here a few times. Great selection of beer. Have always had a friendly waiter/waitress, but the food has always been an issue. Recently we were served moldy bread for our appetizer, the waitress offered us more chips instead, but surprisingly the item was not comped. The rest of the food was ok, but not worth coming back for.
First time there and wasn't left with a very good impression. We went on an early Saturday afternoon. It wasn't busy at all. When we walked in, there was no sign, not that we could see anyways, that said seat yourself. We waited a few minutes and when no one acknowledged us, we went and sat down.
I ordered a Rueben. Bad choice. I get the sandwich and it's dry....no dressing on it! I asked the server for some thousand island dressing and she brings me this small cup that looked like it contained thousand island, but if it was, it was some sort of Frankenstein concoction. It almost had a chemical like taste to it. Needless to say, it didn't get eaten. The fries, they were good and our server was a very pleasant and helpful person. If it wasn't for her, I would have only given it two stars.
I eventually had to go get a server to take our order.
3rd time we have been there. Quality and service have slipped each time. Food was overpriced and poor quality. We will not go back. Too bad, kind of a nice place. Just tough to sustain in the restaurant business in a small market.
